I like Victor, but the fact that he uses 1 stand-alone syllable at the beginning of each statement is somehow frightening to me. It draws me in like a snake charmer, like the rhythm of a song. It's poetry, I know, but it's hypnotic. Do we find irregularities like this alarming because they break the mold of normal expression, like Victor breaks the mold of this forum?

No, we just find him annoying, like that crazy guy at the bus stop holding the sign that says, "The end is nigh!" and repeats the same alarmist crap over and over and over again.

    Whereas is 2 syllables.

Victor's posts aren't alarming. They are kind of reassuring. Remind me of Janet and John.

And the sign of madness is to do the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result.

And the purpose of poetry or poetic prose is to induce a trance to suspend your disbelief.

And to suspend your disbelief is to engage your imagination.

So first I must fully imagine something so you can imagine it too.
