Its a thread about the current election in the UK, fair enough though, can a mod delete or close please.

"For a change" is the worst reason to vote ever, we had the same thing in NZ in the last election, what happened to ideals or even good old self-interest?

It's funny, that's the exact same thing Obama ran on.

I guess it's time for the IRA to start up again?

It seems a valid thread to me, do not delete. Only three seats counted as yet, all to Labour. I think Labour are far more to the right than they have ever been (Similar theory to 1984).
I'm wondering how pointless it is, yet as my brave female ancestors fought for the right, i feel humbled and obliged to vote. ...
    General - Labour
    Local- Green
Usually green all the way, a tactical vote is better than none.

Er, no... No, I'd never, ever say that. I dont know how familiar you are with the situation in NI or UK, that may be considered a bit of a bizarre or offensive remark by most. Just so you know.

I'm not posting in this thread any further because of earlier remarks about my using the forum like blog. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know this.

You don't need to close it.
It's just nearly every day you create a thread with a statement that doesn't really have a purpose other than to rant.
It's like posting, "Dogs have too much fur!!!"

    So?

I think it's an interesting subject, so please post away, Brits.

I'm quite happy with the concept of this thread, personally. I find it alarming that so many people in deluded, sheep-like fashion have been fearfully flocking at the last minute towards a party that posesses neither credibility, sincerity, or meaningful experience of governing. If it wasn't for their complete and transparent absence of the first two qualities, they could perhaps be forgiven the lack of the third.

Agreed. However, i'd prefer a party who lacks the skills above and is further to the left pitted against one to the right. The conservatives are looking very likely at the moment to win, which fills me with dread. A number of London Borough votes are not yet in, the majority of whom i imagine will be labour but i don't think it's enough to swing it now *gulp*
