No, illegal Mexicans in the US work hard.

Chances are, if you are willing to cross the desert on foot for a $5/hour job, you're a motivated s.o.b.

    The lazy ones stayed behind.
Listen to me, baby, you got to understand, you're old enough to learn the makings of a man.

I wonder my marijuana and meth are grouped together in that map?

This. I am really worried about this, and where will they draw the line? I feel like they're saying immigration, but it's really about anyone that isn't white and christian.

I live in New Jersey. The owner of the pizza place I used to work at said that hispanic illegals will come to him looking for work with pay in the $15/hour range for making pizzas.

He's a cheap bastard and turned them away. But when I asked how they could possibly compete when asking for that kind of money he smiled and said, "they work their asses off."

amerikonoak could learn a little from that too, imho
everyone uses every function about evenly. take NE for example. if there are those who don't use it much, then why are there such massive amounts of people constantly flowing through Wallmart with 20 items or less?

I don't like this measure either, but now you're projecting racism, with a touch of paranoia to boot. They're not going to be deporting atheists anytime soon...

and what will they include as information on the ID cards? where you're from? criminal history? credit history? this new age of having to know everything about everyone kind of defeats the idea of second chances in a way

Umm... no. They're not going to move up north, because up north is the end product. The cartels are there to get the drugs through Mexico to the United States. Calderon's concerned because of foreign tourists and people within the border zone, along with remittances.
