Ya several, I get left-libertarian on politicalcompass.org, and socialist on ones that seem to be more just left and right. I put a picture of where I stand according to the political compass compass website.

    Yup! You sure are

I come up different every couple years or so, but always in the purple quad.

I found out about this test in government class back in college. There are some interesting ways to look at political spectrum.

I came out left libertarian, no surprises there.
Actually i have a question for any/all. Is there a correlation bewteen left libertarianism and idealism? It would make sense to me that there is.

There is a correlation with "left" and idealism according to some. Many NF's are Liberal and many SJ's are Conservative.

    I think it valid.

I too have this problem with some tests, even the tests that are not only left-right (the only ones I take anyways lol) as you can see from my last post. either way I still come out to be Left-Libertarian too I Just wander which way I would sway if there were more choices (not talking about any question in particular)

I would say Left-Libertarian is the most Idealistic of them all, probably because those are the political views that I hold, but I'm almost certain people of all other political views see this too, the only difference is that they just think that it would never work (so, I think, most people are actually just settling on the next best thing (with the "best" being questionable of course lol)).

I think my right-libertarianism is pretty idealistic. Obviously, we are cynical about the government's ability to direct the economy, but that also means we are quite optimistic about the ability of individuals and freely-created groups to achieve success (however they define it) without the use of force.

I agree 100%, I also think that today's gangster and mafia lifestyles are all created by today's economic and governmental laws. I think people just want the ability to do whatever they want whenever they want and when this is taken away they get the urge to do the things, they can't, even more. Also I think today's economic ways create the want and the feeling of "need" for more and more of everything and anything (especially the things everyone already has)

Well, looks like you are just a libertarian, not left nor right.

    I'm Right-Libertarian and proud.

I'm 6 to the right from the X=0 axis, and 4 down from the Y=0 axis.\

Anyway, Left-Libertarians are equatable to hippies. But they are near the far corner of it, so it isn't much of an example.
