Do you have to actively participate in Tea Party protests to be a teabagger, or are you a teabagger if you just agree with their message and cause?

He'd be more likely to fit the latter definition. Right wing media has been pounding out anti-tax anti-government rhetoric this past year.

But his views did not square with the Tea Party movement's. You're framing what he wrote in a way that is totally inconsistent with reality. You're trying to employ spin, but you suck at it.

This is an admission that you have no argument. The guy spouts Marxist rhetoric, but it's the right-wing media's fault. You're a piece of work.

I think that's a good point, do you need to be a card carrying member to be a fellow traveller?

You know it could be the fact I'm not American but there's exactly nothing about this statement which makes sense to me what so ever.

OK, the guy quoted Marx right? I've spent the last half hour looking into Marx and various socialists and I dont see resisting taxes as their strong point.

You'll never guess whose really big on that kind of thing though.

It's important to examine how he views this particular government and tax system: it is essentially an institution to destroy and enslave the proletariat/working class while augmenting the bourgeois/corporate/wealthy elites' status. Like I said, he essentially calls for a violent working class uprising to overthrow the class wielding power, and then quotes Marx.

Can't we just leave it as Texans being Texans?

    I mean seriously.
