O MAN SHE DOES LOOK PISSED!

I didn't watch because I really don't care - but that's his mom right? It may be worth watching it just because of her.

    +1

Tiger Woods ahs enough money I doubt he cares about the publicity. He is just apologising because a bunch of morons with no life decided to hate on him, and it is pragmatic to diffuse the situation.
"Of course we spent our money in the good times. That's what you're supposed to do in good times! You can't save money in the good times. Then they wouldn't be good times, they'd be 'preparation for the bad times' times."

"Every country in the world owes money. Everyone. So heere's what I dont get: who do they all owe it to, and why don't we just kill the bastard and relax?"

I agree with you, but I'm a realist and I don't put anyone on a pedastal as if they are above reproach, especially those in the limelight.

I'm not excusing infidelity; I'm acknowledging that he messes up, like we all do, be it, cheating on a test in school, cheating on your taxes, or cheating on your wife. No one's infallable.

I am personally sick of hearing politicians' and religious leaders' and stars' apologies to me because they have erred in their ways. wtf? It implies not only that I care how they conduct their personal life, which I do not, and should not; but it also implies that they think people care and should care about what they do on a personal level, a kind of extreme egoticism, if you will; as if they should be held to a higher standard than others.

I can buy that it's media driven and that they would use it to promote themselves. Again, extreme egoticism. But for realz? Nah, I'd be like, "Fuck off, World, if you think I'm going to aplogize to you." When did this fad start? I wish it would end already.

    How about you?
I'm guessing it's all driven by his sponsors.

Agreed, but now that he's apologized publicly, he should at least do it right the way you would do it in real life as opposed to:

TIGER: I'm sorry I punched this bystander in the face
ME: But why did you do it?
TIGER: Shut up! I apologized, isn't that good enough?
ME: That's all well and good, but there has to be an explanation for wh-
TIGER: NO! I DIDN'T AGREE TO GET INTERROGATED! I DID NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS!
ME: What terms I just asked you a question...
    TIGER: AAAAAH!

Though the whole celebrity gossip culture sickens me. Spying in on peoples lives makes me sick and the people who watch it are ten times as worse!
