Nothing else in this thread is needed besides going into specifics on how to combine the two. You're absolutely right.

Actually, the feudal-capitalist system won't work, at least not on a real-life basis simply BECAUSE people can obtain firearms relatively easily, even if they become restricted.

A good real life example of how it doesn't work:
The terrorist attacks on Tsar Alexander II, his impending assassination when he transformed Russia into a police state to attack the terrorists, and the 1905 Russian Revolution that followed afterward.

The Tsar didnt have TV and consumerism to preoccupy and placate the public, the reality is that most people dont care about the overlords if they can get theirs, the actually care about the underclass more because they are more likely to meet them on a daily basis and feel cheated by redistributio etc.

The first three are philosophical theories, trying to frame some scope of freedom and analyse it from there. I found nothing of empirical results. I found nothing specifically called "The Heart of Man."

My general argument in this debate goes as follows: libertarianism is superior because it allows self-formation of socialist niches, when necessary/when those that partecipate in the niche are willing. Socialism doesn't allow libertarian niches as easily as vice versa. This is also why I think anarco-capitalism is superior to anarco-communism, since the former allows communes, while the latter doesn't allow private ownership.

Its a book by Eric Fromm, I'm not sure of the way in which you're using your terminology, each of those books are based upon observable criteria, they are also extensively researched and have large bibliographies so I'm unsure how more empirical you get besides statistics which are no more objective for simply being quantitative. I'm also unsure as to what you mean by philosophical theories, except perhaps it is an evaluation and you're implying a lack of objectivity.
