Happy birthday, comrade Meow! Sorry, I mean ???(Mao Zedong).

Mightier than the tread of marching armies is the power of an idea whose time has come

Well, he was cruel, very seductive and a vicious power thirsty manipulator and demagogue. Unlike cold NT dictators (like Stalin), this would rather point either to an xNFP Idealist or preferably towards an xNFJ Guru.

And don't complain I do not know the guy and his biography, my father was a well-known French maoist: he even went to China to meet chairman Mao in person, so we have dozens of books at home about Mao and the Cultural Revolution.

Plus, I've worked in China and saw myself the disastrous results of his long reign, even if thanks to brain washing you do not seem aware of them.

    ---

This doesn't mean all members of the CPC were like this. For instance, according to what I know of him, I have an immense respect for Zhou Enlai, who was an accomplished, sophisticated intellectual (unlike Mao the somewhat brutish peasant).

Well okay, but it for sure is a society of vertical power relationships. Even now, and probably forevermore, hierarchies where lower level members rely perhaps exclusively on personal relationships to "leaders" are the way things work. Fiefdoms, areas of authority, kings, queens and leaders all remain in sway. Most importantly, whether it is true or not, the dominant perception on the ground is that whoever is in charge is ultimately NOT bound by anything outside of his personal relationships. And doesn't delegate. All decisions go through the leader.

Modernisation has given China the itinerant worker, the peasant who left the farm in search of employment in the cities. That has altered something of the power relationships. And provides an example of what was local authoritarianism, the not-feudal countryside of yore, become massive bureaucracy-in-name, but gigantic distributed fiefs in practice. Hard to say which will win: the farmers trying to turn to legalistic insistence on the new bureaucracies supposed purpose, or the traditional and long-well-understood inconsistency of the powerful.

Strict socialist capitalism would be a better defining term.
How about "Market Leninism"? It isn't socialist, and where the State isn't holding things down, it is wildly, rules-free capitalism.

Assuming your premise is true, meaning that Mao is an XNFJ, he would embody these traits...

    warm, smile hug
    protective arm
cuddling and caring about someone, feeling warm inside
    being loved and cherished
read and sync up with other people's emotions, matching them in intensity to feel connected and potentially with the goal of influencing those emotions to take away pain
the ability to understand other people's felelings
wondering why we all can't just get along
    spreading love and harmony
not use coarse language (Mao was known to swear and argue alot)
making others feel welcomed and accepted
avoiding arguement and conflict (definitely not a Mao thing)

With reference to the thread Fe is...

Aparrently. if you said you have alot of Mao books at home blackmail. You should find evidence that Mao embody these traits.

What makes you think that Stalin was an NT? By all accounts the guy seems to be xSTJ.

Edgar, I don't understand why you are trolling in this thread. Russia invented Communism and we only followed your example.
    Karl Marx was not Russian.

I have spoken to him about the matter and this is pretty much the case.
"Eastern thinking" equals to "Chinese communism" now?

Mao killed 70 million, and he was an NF (according to Blackmail)
As an NT, I can do better.
