    Question What is Freedom?

If I am granted the Freedom to breath air, then I deny your Freedom to inhale the same air. If you are granted the Freedom to sneeze on my shoe, then I am denied the Freedom to have a spotless shoe.

Does individual Freedom exist, or is it merely a catchphrase?

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves. ~Abraham Lincoln

The lesson of your observation, Tater, is that power = freedom. The closest a human could get to being completely free, is having total control over everyone else, because indeed, your freedom do to anything is the denial of freedom for someone to do something else.
    Go to sleep, iguana.

So the only true Freedom is through totalitarianism?

My opinion is that freedom is mostly kind of a a relative and theoretical possibility or a permission. I can imagine it like every possibility is connected with another one, but at the same time these connections are proportionally flexible.
Complete freedom would be pretty insane. That's why we have our society and its rules, rights and moral, who limit the freedom.
