Yeah, I'd like to receive military training...without the military officers and shit screaming at me. People who scream at my face make me pissed off, and if I don't understand the reason for doing something, I don't gain anything out of it.

Thats the whole point, if you can't handle people screaming at you, then you definitely couldn't handle a situation stressful enough to require military training.

More specifically, you have to be cool under pressure to deserve these deadly skills.

If you are the kind of guy that's liable to shoot someone b/c you think they might fight you, you shouldn't have the gun in the first place.

It makes me wonder why there isn't psych screening for other types of training, though, if they're more likely to break people.

I mean I can't understand that people at the Pentagon haven't figured out that the "brainwashing" is no longer effective. The modern warfare is simply too complicated for you allow yourself to get into position where you have "drones" in the field.

Which is because there is too much options and scenarios when you fight modern guerilla. What means that a mindset of a avarage American soldier is unadapted to conditions in the field. (for the most part)

Especially since you are only adding additional stress to you troops with methods mentioned. Plus you are not giving them any real advantage in "battle". Especially since the concept of battle is obsolete. The only thing you are doing with this is giving you enemiies the advantage.

On the other hand US is so certain in its military superiority that it is no longer objective in estimating its actual military strenght. What means that every unsuccess will have huge emotional cost. Not to mention that this actaully rises the chance of unsuccess.

I am sorry guys but your county sucks at mind games towards my opinion.
    Soldiers are not drones.

Apparently the emphasis at bootcamp has changed form "just do what your told" to being more "thinking/decision-based" as a response to Afghanistan and Iraq. See discussions about old school training soldiers vs new school training soldiers.

I just want to say that I have exaggerated in my claims to get my point across.

(i am Slavic anyways xaxaxaxa!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSDh0UcKgU8 PS Russian music is awesome. And some North korean Taekwondo for the sake of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnnkVLsiPZ8

Because you have to learn to controll yourself and follow orders. If one cannot sustain the discipline one is useless and weak.

Okay I'm sorry but what the fuck? What do y'all want, military training that involves cuddling puppies and kitties and kissing babies? You guys realize the conditions the men and women are going in, and the assailants they fight, right? Sorry you guys would prefer to be gently talk to, like delicate flowers, but the reality of war if that you gotta be ready, and when your enemy is shooting at you I sure as shit guarantee you that he won't be sitting there thinking 'hmmm am I being too loud? Is my tone aggressive? Does this solider like me talking like this to him?' Are we somehow that unaware about what war is here? That's the only way I could possibly justify this, but even then please just open a history book.
