    The UK saw strikes and black outs
    Baader-Meinhof was terrorisitng Europe actually there was a lot of trrorist groups at it at this time

    Ted Bundy was serial killing women in the US as was son of sam, the Yorkshire ripper was killing prostetues in the UK

    Watergate saw the president of the US resign rather than beign mpeached.

    The Jeremy Thorpe scandal and trial in the UK saw a MP being tried for murdering his lover (he was aquitted).

    A US businessman bought London Bridge

    MASH aired for the first time

    Abortion was legalised in the US

    US pull out of Veitnam

    Microsoft was founded

    First test tube baby

    Ayatollah Khomeini Returns as Leader of Iran
