I personally know several Australians who would spontaneously combust.

    darlets,

should we let any god-botherer or collingwood fanatic vote in Australia? Both have irrational faith

posits she who lives a stonesthrow from the Collingwood's ancesteral home....

maybe we should dis-enfranchise all the folks who got bribes to continue voting *Liberal* - that would cut out most of the electorate.....

the trouble with democracy is that no matter who you vote for a politican gets elected .

    sigh

I've met a few megachurch cultists and some american missionaries. I'm not certain whether they are helping or hindering their cause.

This is going to cause a stir when the media starts covering it in more detail.
    "Tax exemptions for religion

Religious institutions receive significant advantages in terms of tax exemptions and benefits. At the same time these institutions are largely unaccountable for their receipt and distribution of funds. The policy of the Secular Party is to end these religious tax exemptions and subsidies. This will benefit the average taxpayer and a level playing field will be provided for all charities. "

Yeah. I watch with disbelief at the billions of dollars the pollies insist on throwing out in promises of tax cuts and the like. I'm sure this can't bode well for the economy - under either party.

The reserve banks announcements at the moment are tantamount to a lot of raised eyebrows and mumbling under their breath "These idiots aren't serious are they?"

You can find out more about who's running in the senate in your state on this page

    Senate

just change the combo box at the top to the state you're in.

    Blatant plug.

There's a "Climate Change Coalition" running in the senate.
