That scientists from a respectable institution -- one of the major sources of information on climate change -- have been blackballing intellectual opponents (and expressing violent fantasies about them), witholding data that doesn't support their position, and creating intentionally misleading reports is a tad worrying.
A criticism that can be brought against everything ought not to be brought against anything.

That's what bothers me, what good is peer review when it's just one big circle jerk?

It surprises me that anyone finds this surprising. Scientists are only people, people.

Besides, what should we make of this if it's so damning? Should we just stop listening to all of these scientists?

Hoax is too strong, who would seriously gain by the propagation of climate change myths?

Besides if global warming is completely nebulous, rather than not simply happening to schedule or as expected (such as predictions about peak oil production), contaminants in aerosols, dirty fuels, pollution, expended finite energy resources all the anciliary issues are just as big a deal as they were the day before.

The question of extreme weather phenomenon remain, it would surely be no less comforting to discover that it had been caused by weaponised environmental technologies being deployed in international great games by spooks.

This act least could account for some of the flooding in the UK, seeing as the Russians have been conducting invasions of UK airospace and its known they have used cloud seeding technology historically to make it rain (causing contaminated clouds to empty radiation in the wake of crenobyle *spelling* before they reached Moscow). Its at least as plausible as once in a thousand year events.

    • Government funded agency protecting their funding source
    • Politicians wanting more money to spend toward their re-election
    • Investment banks that wants a piece of the carbon credits action
    • Industries that get allocated free carbon credits for existing CO2 emission

Shouldn't we consider that all of the currently well established major businesses are the kind that would probably be hurt by environmentally friendly regulation?

If we follow the money, it probably leads toward people that want global warming to be a hoax.
