    To the OP:

    Hilarious.
I still say "sir" and "ma'am."
I still call everything a coke.
    I still love Waffle House.

Don't get me started on Southerners. I would hive-five you, fellow Dixie-ite, but I'm on dial-up. Wanna see my Peterbilt belt buckle and spurs? I haz 'em.

Actually I was saying that I still say and do those things .

I am very much a Southerner and proud of that fact. However, I am quick to dissociate myself with some of the antiquated beliefs that are still very prevalent where we're from. I hope you do the same, Sir.

A local government agent of mine, when I call him up, he calls me Miss Pink, and insisted that I stay home because it was so cold outside. Then we discussed how to get rid of black ants.

That's the way it goes 'round here.

Everyone in San Diego keeps asking me "what are grits?" Blasphemy!

Between that cigarillo and sticking my finger down my throat to see if I could DT, I feel like puking RN.

We do college game day different in the South.

    Can't be replicated.

Case in point: The Grove at Ole Miss
