    Highest ranking dimension: Big Government
You believe in the power of government to make life better. You may have felt that what the country really needs is for the government to get serious about the many problems that people face. This may be because you have seen the system break down and know people who have fallen through the cracks. It may also be because you feel that our society is at risk our communities need better protection from internal and external dangers. Others may disagree with you because they are focused on what government does wrong, rather than what it does right. When politicians of your type make mistakes it is often because they create programs that solve one problem but create others.

    Second highest ranking dimension: Individualist
You believe in the right of an individual to "be themself" in thought and deeds. You may have felt that what the country really needs is a politician with the nerve to tell people when it comes to controlling others, they should mind their own business. This may be because you enjoy a diversity of experiences and don ’t get offended easily. It may also be because you’ve seen people be persecuted. Others may disagree with you because they feel a right to protect what they see as community values. When politicians of your type make mistakes it is often because they underestimate people’s need for sta bility and safety.

    Combined statement:
Based on your answers, the best state for you is one where people’s basic needs are well looked after and people are free to pursue creative and fulfilling lives.
    So far, so good...

Seriously? Interesting. Even though I'm not a neocon, I have a weird kind of respect for someone who self-identifies with an ideology that has become so unpopular. Like when Republicans say they joined the Party because of Nixon. Kind of surprising.

Anyway, I don't think I've ever had a chance to learn about neoconservatism from someone who actually identified as one. What would you consider the big bold-faced Neoconservative principles - both internationally and domestically? (no debate, I promise... just honest curiosity)

    Social Democrat.

    According to Wikipedia:

"However, modern social democracy has deviated from socialism, and supports positions that include support for a democratic welfare state which incorporates elements of both socialism and capitalism, resulting in a mixed economy combined with a comprehensive welfare state.[2] Social democrats aim to reform capitalism democratically through state regulation and the creation of programs that work to counteract or remove the social injustice and inefficiencies they see as inherent in capitalism. This significantly differs from traditional socialism, which aims to replace the capitalist system entirely with a new economic system characterized by either state or direct worker ownership of the means of production."

Does anyone else here share the belief that the value of a political system is about 100% circumstantial?

Theoretically yes, but practically no. You can argue philosophical subtleties all you want, but most people just want a better life, and that's how I would judge a political system.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

    Same here.

I guess you could call me a "Post-Objectivist/Mutualist/Anarcho-Wonkavist."

But to use more accessible terms, I'm a "Laissez-faire capitalist" and a "Right Libertarian."

I strongly agree with the famous quote, attributed to Thomas Paine:

"That government is best which governs least."

    EDIT:

    Bah---

I had begun to elaborate, but I think I'll just leave it at this...for now.

To quote Clark Griswold, I could not be more surprised if I woke up with my head sewn to the pillow. After reading the particulars for "Hollywood Republican" that Athenian got, I thought THAT is what I'd be.
