Those people aren't real Christians. They think that they are better then God and believe that they are the ones who have to punish people's sins by harassment. It's really fucked up.

I hope the pirate pastafarians comes out again to protest along with them.

It's just the latter. People who are too caught up in their toxic thinking to step outside and find unadulterated fresh air.

There are fundamental inconsistencies with today's society and the societies that the Bible illustrates.

I believe that Westboro Baptist Church has taken the latter route, at least in their own minds. They have been deluded by their own radical interpretation of what their religion should be.

Yeah, they need to step outside their convoluted cloister of bullshit and see what's actually occurring in the real world.

This is called, "The no true Scotsman fallacy", and is simply a logical fallacy.

And if you read the Torah, the Bible or the Koran, you will find God hates male homosexuals.

This is why it is vital that we be free to criticize the religious beliefs or others whether they be Judaic, Christian, Islamic or even MBTI.

No, you'll find that God hates homosexual sex. Which is totally different than homosexuals.

And you'll also find that God hates incest many, many, many times more.

    You are correct sir.

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? (Matthew 7:16)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Gal. 5:22-23)

Strictly speaking, these people might be Christians in the sense that they are saved since that forgiveness is unconditional, but clearly they do not understand what it means to follow Christ's example.

Victor beat me to it. *look to heavens, fist shake* They are "real" Christians. There's really no objective outside checklist for being a Christian, so whomever considers him- or herself one, is one. Fortunately, that also means they can't exclude the rest of us from Christianity because we don't adhere to their beliefs.

Actually... if yeu read the bible... yeu'll find that God has nothing AT ALL against homosexuals in general.

There is not one single utterance of hatred towards them, and several passages preaching tollerance towards them.

The mistake that people make, is confusing 'the sin' with 'the sinner'.

The bible *DOES* go pretty nasty on the whole sodomy and gay *SEX* thing. It has a severe hatred for any form of sex which is pure pleasure or love, and doesn't involve the capacity of creating life. As gay sex physically can't result in the creation of a baby, *THAT* is why it's considered a sin. Because it's done purely for love, not for procreation, and the bible's against any form of sex that is not done for procreation as it's primary goal.

People just 'assume' that gays have had gay sex. If yeu are gay, and never have sex with yeur partner, then yeu are in fact *NOT* a sinner according to the bible. There is nothing wrong with same sex couplings and no harm should come to them.

The only thing is that yeu also can't get married because marriage is also of the former issue: it's a liscence for procreation, not a symbol of love. As gays are not allowed to procreate due to the lack of capacity to create children, they therefore aren't allowed to procreate, and therefore, are also not allowed to be given a liscence to do so that they can't use. Hence, gays can't marry because they can't give birth to children without going outside their union.

Short form of this, is that people are making wild assumptions that gays are evil and god hates them. This's never been said, and the contrary HAS been stated repeatedly. He just doesn't like sex for love. It has to be a baby making machine. If gays don't have sex, then god's perfectly fine with them.

Some people just don't understand the message, and haven't realized that there's a difference between 'the sin' and 'the sinner'. If they didn't sin, they're not a sinner. If they did, yeu should still love the sinner but hate the sin.

    Unfortunately, try using reason or facts with these people >.>;;
