    Default H E L P !!!!!!!!

To whom you turn to if not to friends in a time of dire need.

I wish to move to a place where there are no leaf blowers.

Any recommendations are accepted with pleasure.

The leaves are all gone but the leaf blowers are not gone.

Is there a connection with leaves and leaf blowers?

If so, what is the connection? I do not see any.

What is this unforeseen chapter in our political history?

You would not be safe here. If I do not sweep the grass clippings from my sidewalk quickly enough after my husband mows the lawn, my neighbor "sneaks" over and uses his leaf blower to sweep it for me. I think he is either bored or has OCD. Thankfully my son does not notice. Vacuum cleaners are his bane.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

I think you're overreacting. Don't give us false alarms like that... I was really worried!

They can be very loud. Sometimes I have to cover my ears because I can't stand it when they use them around here. Thankfully, they only do so about once a week during fall.

I guess some people are really persnickety about having a few leaves on their lawn, and just pull out the leaf blower for every job, just because they can.

If you want to move to a place with no leaf blowers... what about Alaska, or some parts of West Texas? There aren't leaf blowers there, because there aren't likely to be any deciduous trees in very snowy or desert climates.

    I say a good sport.
    Thank you Athenian.

Unfortunately deciduous trees exist also in the most extreme of climate.

Come live across the road from me. I'll put a saucer out for you each night and shoot any leaf blowers I see
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

    Agreed !!
    There is a good friend.

I knew only you have the guts to waste the scampy.

    Never worry.
When it comes to the (you know what) I shall provide you with an alibi.
Alibi is the only thing the dumb cops are concerned about.

And in case something goes wrong I shall visit you in prison every time I can.

I shall fill my pockets with every single piece of Cadbury I can muster.

    You are my hero!

You know, giving someone a vent for sociopathic tendencies could be considered a bad thing too

You might find some respite (from leaf blowers anyway ) at one of the locations listed here:

Deserts and xeric shrublands - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I suggest a pair of these ear plugs as a more efficient escape:
