    1/ This is a partly fictionalized novel. The book was sold as a novel, not as a "real" autobiography.

    2/ Mrs Le Pen deliberately added the word "young" in front of "boy". And the meaning of it, at least in French, is completely different. Because a "garçon" here can refer to a 18-25 years old adult, while "un jeune garçon" can obviously not.
