    Default Traditional skinheads

I find skinhead subculture fascinating. It's even more fascinating when you find out it's true roots.

To help bring you up to speed, watch this brief history lesson on the birth of traditional skinheads. It all starts off in 1969 in Britain.

I'd love to hear from some traditional Ska, Reggae and Rocksteady lovin skinheads out there. Even better if you got some good memories or pics you would like to share.

Well, that explianed alot. Especially why bald white racist get very offended when you call them a skinhead. Your accuseing them of being one of the very things they hate most! But anyway, that was quite interesting, I never had any idea there was such a subculture as this. Now it makes me wonder if the band sublime consider themselves as skinheads.
There is no question about wether or not we'll die. The real question is, will you truley live?

The majority of skinheads can probably relate to this group.

Wow, you learn something new everyday. Buuut, I'll still stay on the other side of the street just in case. I think we've got more of those other kinds of skinheads where I live. Actually, I'm positive of it.

I've never met or seen the Jamaican ska lover type. I live deep in the collard green South though.:rolli:

I think SHARP's are a minority in the "skinhead" scene... Skins are fools, plain and simple. It's no different from any other form of racial prejudice, it's just another group that takes pride in it and isn't afraid to promote it, like the KKK. They're people that seek to find a group that they can keep below them in order to feel superiority and power. It's pure ignorance and it's disgusting.

If the Skinhead subject interests you, you should check out this movie if you haven't:
