    Default WSJ

How many of you read The Wall Street Journal? If so, what do you think about it? Do you feel it has a more liberal or conservative slant, or do you feel that it's a completely objective source for news?

The actual news articles probably have a centrist slant overall; the opinion pages usually have a very conservative slant.

    More of a conservative slant.

However many business people rely on it for accurate info upon which they can base decisions on. So it can't be too far out.

I still read it every once in a while.

There is no completely objective source for news.

Considering that the WSJ and the New York Times are the only two newspapers left who don't provide their content for free online, I'm curious to see just how objective the WSJ truly is.

I get the WSJ delivered every morning.
    It's slanted conservative.
    Always has been.

Seconded. The news and business articles are quite middle-of-the-road (by American standards, anyway). The editorial staff and their op-eds are right-of-center, often in a rather neocon-ish way.

Agreed. The News Corp. conglomerate, owned by Rupert Murdoch, bought WSJ so the conservative slant will continue. The investors for News Corp. will come before journalistic integrity, but unfortunately most major newspapers are faced with the same dilemma.

The reporting is pretty centered, and the editorial page is thoroughly conservative.

The conservative slant was never going to go away with that paper, so nothing has changed. I wouldn't slag their journalistic integrity, though. It's one of the most respected news publications in the world.
