Hey, about that "government educating your kids" thing... the government doesn't educate my kids. I have four of them and the fourth one will be starting kindergarten this fall. At home.

All of them are better-educated than nine out of ten of their public-school peers.

Their education is libertarian (with a small L) but not theoretical, and I have the standardized test scores to prove it.

Yea, i wouldnt be parading the government's "wonderful' job in public education when our performance compared to other countries has been sliding downhill so rapidly.

You mean compared to other countries that have an even more of a socialist slant to education than the US?

You know nothing of my children nor of me. As far as turning them into robots, why would you think I've done that?

The point being that our particular government's approach to education (along with other things) sucks , not that the government shouldn't be involved in offering public education, which would be absurd to suggest.

What the hell are you talking about? Countries like Finland and France that have superior primary and secondary education to the United States while spending LESS per student at PPP. The best education in America is college education, and the best ones are private universities that are ranked the best in the world.

whats it like to be so deeply programmed that you are willing to say such rude, unfounded things to someone who is making a choice to break away from the norm based on their personal beliefs? how is that robotic?

Yes, I know that. Thank you for proving my previous point: countries like Finland and France spend LESS per student than we do, but have superior primary and secondary education. So who does that support the claim that their schools are "more socialist" than ours?

Policy and operational efficiency are two different things.
