Allow Pure Mercury to answer the question.

I've had enough of theoretical, idealistic libertarian answers. I want a real answer.
Or maybe he'd just shake you down for some money since you seem so ready and willing to pay for other people's health care. Please, show us your benevolence and altruism. That is a big part of LIBERAL idealism, is it not?

Does any of this make sense? First of all, you should at least ATTEMPT to address what I've written. Are any of the points false in that post? You believe so? Then say why. Don't go ad hominem against someone who actually bothers to research what he is talking about. It makes you look silly. And I do want other people to have health insurance. I just don't want it to be on everyone's dollar. I REALLY don't want it to be federally mandated. Go ahead and wonder what would happen to me, though. You've certainly wondered enough about health care and still haven't figured anything out.

And I always knew "TYPOc" had an unproportionally high number of inept vagabonds, wandering aimlessly in the inescapable abyss of their own ignorance, who devoutly express the profundity of the inane nature of the political left and their talking points.

Have you listened to any of the town hall meetings? People are seriously saying shit like that.

My question is completely reasonable in light of the fact that healthcare is an issue of people's actual lives, not silly little pie-in-the-sky theories.

I always ponder what libertarians would actually DO if they needed healthcare or lost their jobs. I thought you might have a plan, but instead you talk about research.

Are you avoiding the question because the reality of it is scary?

Yeah, the issue of healthcare is actually reality for some people.

I wouldn't be diagnosed with anything, because I can't afford to pay for a doctor's visit without health insurance now. I will have about $150 in the bank after my next rent and utilities bill. Fortunately, A) I am a relatively healthy 26-year-old; and B) I am up for a job in the UCLA Health System. So, when I get it, I will then schedule appointments for the doctor and the dentist. I also will get prescriptions for some meds (I get cold sores on my mouth when the seasons change and/or I get sick; I have been quite insomniac recently, too). For now, I will tough it out. I don't like the situation. I always want to be protected on the back end. However, the odds are in my favor.
