Whether you like the article or not (guessing your side with the later), its still an interesting piece.

The virus is not a threat to the human population, but with all new strains it does cause damage near the area of origin, and that happens to be Mexico (aka americas backyard or god's blind spot, whatever you want to call it).

    Hah.

I can see it now. Someone shoots Macgruffin in the leg. His OCD kicks in and he yells.. "HEY! Four more times, please."

    Oh, the joy of OCD.
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

Well..just think..if you have a pyramid, and you take one block out, it all comes down. And assuming that we're at the top, if you take one species, expose it to a possibly deadly virus, it gets whiped out, it will have some effect on us. It's a chain reaction..these things don't just go unnoticed. You wait and see..it's going to get CRAZY up in here.

Your pyramid analogy works better within economical realms or with your sarcasm.

Well..I suppose we don't rely on other species as much..but the possibility of an apocalypse is a lot greater than we think, in general.

Is it possible that corrupt scientists could isolate this virus in order to mass produce it?

Is it possible that pharm cos implanted it in order to sell the healing syrum they also produced? And implanted it in Mexico in order to not leave too big of trail. But yet too lazy to go through all the rigamaro that comes with entering canada. Not too many traceable sicknesses come out of Mexico. Tuberculosis for example.
everyone uses every function about evenly. take NE for example. if there are those who don't use it much, then why are there such massive amounts of people constantly flowing through Wallmart with 20 items or less?

Animals are immune to most diseases that effect people, if anything else animals get us sick, hence swine or avion virus.

But I agree that things are more fragile than most think, but general public knowledge well prevent diseases from being the source of our demise.

At least the diseases that our out currently.

You'd think they would have picked a better disease, in the article itself it mentioned people recovering from the incident.

yeah, who knows. We could have another world epidemic that could be discovered tomorrow, and have half the world dead in a month. My point is that we don't know exactly when and where and how badly it will hit..but it will..so we, as humans, she be smart enough to accept it as apart of life and evolution, and be aware of it.

That was the idea. Maybe folks from mexico should come up and drink from a river that those pharm cos dumped into most recently. I know i am now. When is that east coast meet up again?
