Default media coverage of the tea parties Part 2, (the video they don't want you to see)

YouTube - The video CNN doesn't want you to see

This clip goes past, what was allowed on CNN, it picks up near the end of where the last video left off.

The video further shows the bias within the media.

It is pathetic how one's personal values can so twist events, and this goes past this issue alone.

I actually believe stricter defamatory punitive measures should be enacted against the media (in general, not necessarily for this case, we could debate on that though).

Anyways, your thoughts on the video?

Your thoughts on stricter guidelines with the intent of increasing the credibility of news agencies? (though this is a double edge sword)

    Freedom of Speech.

Corporations have agendas. Wow, that's news. If people don't understand how media works, it's their own fault for believing information at face value. It's a choice to follow a specific media outlet.

I agree with the statement, people are responsible for researching or not (and the consequences that come with), but I still feel that there should be something to encourage more professional news. As things stand now, the more sensational the better, so I can only see things deteriorating instead of improving.

    Edit:

Also when I think of defamatory remarks (which wasn't so much the case here), I think of instances where they bring up family members of politicians, or create blatantly inaccurate stories.

At least the kid will get healthcare and won't grow up in a massive depression. Hahaha.

Yeah. Every source is biased though, so where do you research? If every corporation, politician, or group has their own agenda, how do we know that the "facts" we pull up when we research are true?

This has actually been troubling me for a while.
