Default So I'm trying to figure out the appeal...

    I get these:

    I really like these:

I find these distasteful, but I can sorta see why people like them:

But WTF is up with these?

Seriously, explain the the appeal of the last three shirts to me.

Well, of the last three, I think the appeal of the diversity one is that you take one concept (diversity) that is usually applied in one context, and you apply it to another (being a gun owner). It's a juxtaposition. For the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms one, it's the contrary nature. For people who dislike big government, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is often considered one of the most onerous and there are entire websites dedicated to their abuses (like Waco and Ruby Ridge). The waterboarding one just seems stupid, unless it's being intentionally ironic or transgressive, like someone wearing an "I TAKE THE 'THE' OUT OF PSYCHOTHERAPIST" T-shirt.

lol ANTI SOCIAList, haha, I love it.

The first 7 are a riot,

the ones you find distasteful is comparing Obama to Carter (he was a nice guy, but not an economic genius), the second one teases PETA.

"WTF is up with these?" section

First two is most likely supplied by the NRA, there is nothing offensive about it, they want guns to stay legalized.

The next two asking for deregulation of taboos and less government intervention.

For the last one, it's either crude humor (some enjoy it), or there is something on the back that we are missing,

unless you were looking to be insulted, or to insult others in some way, its not that hard to comprehend the meaning behind the shirts,

for every cause, there is a shirt with a logo for it.

Even the KKK sells joke T-shirts. I saw one in a documentary, it was black with pictures of guys in the KKK garb, and it read: "KU KLUX KLAN - THE ORIGINAL 'BOYS IN THE HOOD'"

Some of them are good: the meat one, the Obama/Carter one, anti-socialist. I have this one:

I remember "murder bush" shirt being worn in Ca in masses.

I also saw a "Don't Snitch" shirt, originating from gang culture.

I actually own a T-shirt that reads: "Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms... who's bringing the chips?"

I wear it on camping trips, because it wouldn't be a camping trip if there weren't alcohol, tobacco, and firearms--and chips. (I could do without the tobacco, but the other three are musts.)

The first shirt with the pistols is lame. And I like pistols.

I may have liked the third shirt about waterboarding when I was a younger and much angrier. Vengeance feels good.
