Ok - That comment came off to me as

"Look, make your case to me on this topic more clearly because right now you are batting 0 with me. What facts do you have to back it up?"

Is it because I know Risen somewhat? Or did I read something TOTALLY different into it than anyone else?

I'm just sorry I caused this reaction. I support the tea party concept... in its native form. What I feel is that the astro turfing done in its name has only hurt the cause. Just more polarization. More politics. More media influence. Just more of the same.

But it isn't the first time anti-tax protests have worked, even in recent years. So I do hold some hope out. No matter how it started, social movements are... unstable.

Anyway, consider this a gentle prod to get the thread back on track.

We have plenty of slang titles for the oppositions horse shit protests too. Let'em get even a little.
everyone uses every function about evenly. take NE for example. if there are those who don't use it much, then why are there such massive amounts of people constantly flowing through Wallmart with 20 items or less?

They have about 4 that I know of set up just in San Diego county, and I intend to go to one of them.
Yeah I saw two people by our post office. I stopped by just to laugh at them.

    Not so much (here)

This really isn't about taxation though - taxes are going down for most people. It'd be over spending. Some stimulus - namely bank protectionism - was required, but I'm of the mind that it became excessive and that we'll see some consequences. The chances of them timing a perfect soft landing? Not likely. Not with these amounts of money and multipliers in effect.

They were protesting by our post office. It was two of them. Older caurcasian man and woman. I dropped by, mailed my moms taxes and proceeded to laugh at the protesters, and sarcastically said "If you keep this up, maybe the IRS will send you your money back." Sadly I think they believed me, because they smiled back.
