We actually had a Passover seder in Catholic grade school. The food was terrible, and I don't think most of those kids even knew what Jews were at the time.
Who wants to try a bottle of merc's "Extroversion Olive Oil?"

Thanks to Obama, more people may know about Jews.

    Edit: In a positive light

I doubt it. He doesn't seem to have as many Jews in prominent administration positions as Bush did. Still, it's a nice gesture.

I don't. He's stated many times that it's one of his goals to influence a more accepting America. Remember his inauguration speech? Every ethnicity and religion is important to him. Many people watched that and received his message. Now, he's is following through with his actions. They speak louder than words, and he will continue this throughout his presidency.

Every group that can help him in some way is important to him. He's a politician.

L'chaim! (for those of you who aren't familiar with Hebrew, that means "to life!")

This makes me very happy. And yes, non-jews, are generally allowed. My ex-husband, a defunct mormon, celebrated pesach with us a number of times. It's actually a really fun meal, not as serious as the Catholic mass. High holidays on the other hand....zzzzz

Seder is traditionally done on the first and second nights of Passover (but not the other nights). So Obama's Kosher for Passover here.

I'm not the one claiming Obama is enlightening the ignorant world about a supposedly unknown group of people called Jews. Almost anybody has heard of Hanukkah, the Holocuast, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
