Boy, two whole months and you haven't wasted any time in being negative. (Actually, I think you started shortly after the election, if not the day of.)

Bush got eight years to do his thing and his supporters didn't like hearing gripes even after a number of years into it.

This would be a lot easier if people had more a "look and see" policy -- you wanted space for "your guy" to solve the country's problems (and it didn't pan out), why not back off a bit? What are you expecting?

Even Obama said he wasn't Jesus.

ironically, btw, I think systems tend to be self-stabilizing. The "crashes" are basically a faulty system's way of righting itself. Unless there is a total catastrophe where things blow up, basically everything cycles.

Risen has been camped out at an emergency bunker ever since the inauguration, you can't blame him for being on edge.

You OBVIOUSLY have not been a careful reader of my posts. I started on this track since day one of the economic crisis and bailouts, which Started with the real George Bush, and hasn't changed since he left office.

I'm expecting our leaders to do the right things and to not completely reform the country into something that resembles Europe. I don't expect Obama to fix the economy. I never expected ANY president to be able to FIX an free market economy. My problem is with how THEY (Bush and Obama) are TRYING to "fix it", because I see that they are liable to make things worse for us down the road economically, in terms of how unified we are as a country, and in terms of how much freedom we have in the economy or otherwise. Less pain now, more pain later.

Didn't stop people from believing it now did it?
