Free marketers don't think anybody should get bailouts.

It's true the whole segment has more to do with CNBCs more or less, inaccurate predictions on well, anything financial. It's quite humorous even for someone like me who pays little to no attention to these things otherwise.

We can be paid huge sums of money to get it wrong! Where do I apply?

I resent the implication that Rick Santelli was for bailouts for himself and his Wall Street buddies, but against them for homeowners with bad mortgages. Stewart should be ashamed of himself for implying that. Besides, they show everyone BUT Santelli in the CNBC montage, smearing him in the process. Santelli and Jim Cramer can't stand each other, for instance, and Santelli called him out for his outlandishly bullish predictions (that is, until he decided the sky was falling). The whole piece is one gigantic straw man, and it shouldn't have made it to air. Stewart should publicly apologize to Rick Santelli (he can rip CNBC all he wants, though).
