Now I regret to inform you of the Singapore and Hong-Kong human rights controversy. You probably don't want to acknowledge that in any way, I don't blame you.

Singapore has a poor human rights history. Hong Kong does not. You're just flat-out wrong, and you're scrambling to deny plain facts. It's pathetic.

Singapore definitely has a poor human rights history. But Hong-Kong also has it's fair share of abuse. You are free to research human rights controversy in Hong-Kong.

The Hong Kong Human Rights Monitor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia has some good information of their controversy since 1995.

Now, you're grasping at straws. Your free-market bastions are clearly not models or freedom.

Models for freedom like, say, France? Pay no mind to religious discrimination, violence in the streets, and a colonial war in Algeria more brutal than anything the U.S. has ever done in Latin America or Asia. Or how about Sweden? Nazi collaboration, anti-Muslim xenophobia, and a forced abortion/sterilization program well into the 1970s. You're fighting a losing battle, and I am grasping at nothing. I actually have a firm handle on these issues, and you clearly do not. Your ideology will never let you look at the world without blinders on.

im not sure that you can classify congress and president bush/clinton pushing for lower mortgage standards so that lower classes can own homes as "keynesian" economics. thats not what you would call monetary or fiscal policy.

keynesian economics would refer more to active government spending. not quite the same as what happened in the mortgage and lending industry from 2002-2007

Socialist Europe, including France and Sweden, has the highest freedom rankings in the world. In fact, Western and Southern Europe is the only region in the world in which all nations have a "1" rating for democracy and political freedom (Minus Turkey). How many more things can you be wrong about??

Apparently, you cannot read a color-coded map.

Whether Europe is more "free" or not (highly doubtful), keep in mind nobody was at that level until we got the ball rolling. True liberty started with us in the new world. Unfortunately it'll probably END with us as well...

The graph clearly shows all of North America is free.

If you take the Americas section of the graph, and reduce it to Canada, the US, and Mexico. It has high freedom. Though Mexico is a little lacking.

North America is definitely very free, when compared to Asia, South America, Africa...
