Where's an attention whore pic when ya need one? Conclusion: desperate bid at post-election relevance to rally the base, whomever the hell they are now.
Same way the democrats wanted and want republicans to fail, and demonize republicans. Each side is guilty of the same BS, neither democrats nor republicans are exalted.

Did you actually read it? Because I don't know how you could come to that conclusion if you did.

I weary of any propaganda trying to influence thinking with fear instead of reason. Rush is a little different case than some as he is a rather sick individual who has lost even the feeblest grip on reason. The shit he said about Michael J. Fox revealed just how unwell Rush's mind is. He is no source of wisdom, but rather a below average intelligence, dysfunctional man who appeals to people's lowest common denominator of fear and anger.

Yeah...funny thing is, life is hoping Rush Limbaugh fails.

It's a combination of playing to the supporters and believing that it will help. In most cases, it doesn't, and ends up costing a great deal. The problem with being rich (more complex version: having a lack of stabilizers that increase volatility for the benefit of higher average growth) is that you can afford the regulations in good times, but they actually hurt during the bad times (more).

On the other hand, the other part (R mostly) come in and deregulate everything, which in theory would be good, but does so for the same reasons - to help selective groups. When regulation is selective, those particular parts without regulation gain artificial market power, not to mention that it's being done to make individuals rich (an "elite", from certain POVs). Like the bank execs, etc. that now have enough power that they can hold the government and the people hostage for their own personal gain. In a very real and literal sense.

What isn't being done is creating a solid system, and it's been known for a very long time. However, wealth hides it. The problem is that the banking system is going to collapse at it's current state - it came close twice recently, and quite a few times before that showed it wasn't chance. It's still fixable, but... the system is highly flawed in its current state. Being rich and dominant can hide problems, but like many countries have come to realise, the foundation is not "just there". It's backed by oversight and regulation... of the right type.
    Awsome post.

Rush brags about how he didn't study in school because he didn't need it. That's correct. He didn't need it to make money.

He pretty much epitomizes what's gone wrong with this country.

I think (at least I hope) Rush simply meant that Obama's 'socialistic' policies don't work out so well.
Nevertheless, the way Limbaugh said it was definitely not the right way to say it. No one should wish our President to fail.

In all honesty - Does Rush want anything to succeed?? You know he'd be out of a job complaining.

If you really cut to the chase, what Limbaugh and most of his flock want is to recreate the McCarthy era.
