Shovel snow???? Nothing gives me greater joy than to watch some slow moving person do an unplanned dance and flying belly flop on the sidewalk!

Honestly, if people feel the need to walk down the sidewalk in the middle of winter, they can shovel. I'm not going to waste my time.

I don't have a sidewalk, but if I did, I would probably shovel snow from my yard on to the sidewalk.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

My neighborhood is too old for sidewalks. Town did a study on the feasibility of installing them....the numbers were something like: 500 trees needing to be removed, 2 miles of curb would be needed to be installed, along with moving multiple power poles and installing drainage in a large area. Estimated cost, for around 5 miles of sidewalk was upwards of a couple million, along with pretty much every homeowner opposed to it....killed that idea.

I just don't shovel. Plus, that's less work.

I very rarely shovel my own driveway.
    It is not your sidewalk.
    It is mine.

psst, that elephant in the room is named Road. Although, I suppose paved sidewalks are totally unnecessary if the roads aren't either. IN my city, the sidewalks are all built from cut slabs of stone.

I'll leave the shovel outside, should any other owners of the sidewalk wish to shovel it.

These are the kind of legal issues that have me so frustrated with contemporary humanity.

I'm not allowed to leave the snow and ice there, which makes me want to, so the morons walking might get killed or injured.

And of course I'll have my video camera set to activate on motion sitting on my porch so I can send the video into AFHV.
