Default How has President Obama changed your life?

With everything being as fantastic as it is, I think we should stop and list and thank Obama for all the things he's done to help us.

Well, being that he hasn't really done anything that immediately effects me yet...

He's made me realize one of three things:

    1. America is much less racist against blacks than I expected.
    2. The racists were all republicans already.
    3. McCain/Palin was so unlikeable that even people that don't like blacks voted for him.

Apparently you weren't paying attention to the democratic primaries...or Obama's pastor of twenty years, for that matter. (keep the cheap shots to yourself, and I'll do likewise).

You got that right. That's why there's no racism in Europe.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

Speaking of racism, did anyone watch the Miss America pageant this past week? I loved when they asked the affluent southern white girl if racism had been eradicated yet, and sh confirmed emphatically that it had. Srsly guys it's totally gone!! Lolz.

Thank you for finally getting elected Obama. Seriously, I don't think I could have handled much more. I'll give you a few bucks next time if you do a good job.
Can the bucks stop here, at my house, in transit? I promise I won't steal them.

If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

The most racist people I know personally are all committed Democrats. I am sure that is not how it is nationwide, but it's definitely true in my life.
