^ Well he has also been described as self-deluding, hiding from unpleasant personal truths, quietly vindictive when crossed, spendthrift, hypocritical.

If I'm not mistaken, he was an ENTP.

There's just no way he was extroverted if one reads the biographical information and the impressions given by the people who knew him.

Hamilton and Burr, both definately Extroverted.

    Jefferson? No way.

We can at least say that he is an NT for sure. I knew that without even reading hardly anything about him.

I've given reasons why I think he may not be an NT, what are your reasons for thinking he definately is NT? Just because he thinkered with mechanical things?

I think the problem is people are typing him without knowing much about him, just the myths put out there in pop culture. Was Jefferson really NT?

The only thing I am sure about is that he was IN. Based on reading biography and things that people said around him, He does seem Ni dom. But it's not so clear that he was Ni-Te.

Jefferson is probably one of my more favorite historical "persons" to "read" (as in quotes, pamphlets, books etc, what ever he's been written down as said)

he just makes sense to me. MANY historical INTPs drive me insane with their writing style... so im going to guess INTJ for Jefferson.

i posted this earlier in the thread but the basis for my judgement on jefferson's personality is based mostly on what kiersey wrote about him here:
