That reminds me. In the day one of my great-uncles was the town blacksmith. People paid him in moonshine. One night he left work to walk the five blocks home, slipped on the ice, broke his leg and froze to death before they found him.

It's about -20 Fahrenheit here. My eyeballs felt like they were freezing when I was out.

I wore my mad bomber cap and rabbit fur mittens tonight. Fun.

It actually occurred to me that the weather was warmer the night I frostbit my feet a few years ago... how pathetic is that?

Ouch! I've never been that badly chilled, but I do get frostnip on my toes and fingers all the time. It really sucks, especially when I get inside and have to take notes for three hours. Did your toes turn black?

I took advantage of the cold and put my drinks outside to get/stay cold just before dinner I have pics, but not on my computer yet. Cold weather has it's quirks.

I think it got to -30C with windchill this morning, fun stuff.

It was definitely colder today. My ears were burning because of the cold after walking outside for about 5 or 10 minutes.

    The drinks thing sounds useful.
