They should certainly not let themselves be used in a propaganda play.

Police officers should be taught what propaganda is.

They should be taught that propaganda propagates an ideology.

And that an ideology is predigested thought, it serves interests and has a demonology.

And that police are perfect for the temporary role of demons.

They can be so easily manipulated into, and accused of, 'police brutality', that they are typecast for the role.

Tazer = tool that can be used at a distance, does not require physical force that leaves trauma to one's body (minus a bump/bruise from going to the ground) and will stop someone dead in their tracks. It's really a brilliant and effective device, IMO.

Are tazers the issue or is it enforcement of law?

    Neither, the issue is propaganda.

This agitprop was carried out by well organised political students.

What I think is most interesting is our own gullibility.

I was gulled when I first saw the video. And so will many thousands of others.

But it is almost as though we are being trained in gullibility - we watch thousands of hours of TV that puts us into a light, gullible trance so that we can be sold products.

We seek relief from reality in trances at every opportunity.

We are never taught what a trance is and how we can enter and leave a trance safely.

And interestingly, we are never taught what an ideology is.

And we are never taught these things because our own authorities want to entrance us and teach us their own ideology.

Little realising that the enemy also wants to entrance us and teach us their ideology.

    It's poetic justice.

Oh yes, I found the video on Youtube.

The tazering took place in the UCLA library.

So if you type in UCLA and taser, you are sure to find it.

I thought this thread was supposed to be about tazers and all I'm seeing is Victor arguing about some conspiracy theory.

A video of a student being tazered in the santuary of a library is highly emotional.

So first it is important to feel the emotion and then, equally important, to think about it afterwards.

In this way you can be in reality contact and then integrate it into your mind.

This enables you to asses what you have seen.

I am very familiar with student political groups, their respective ideologies and their practice.

I am not arguing about a conspiracy theory. I am talking about two organised political groups on campus that have formed an alliance.

And I am saying you can't understand what these groups are doing to you until you understand propaganda and ideology and history.

Perhaps if you don't understand, it all looks like a conspiracy.

    I was joking.

Still I don't really see the point in tazers. You'd figure pointing a gun at someone was enough.

I think anyone that dislikes guns MUST like tazers, regardless of what their use is. They have one purpose: To hurt. Whetherits used to torture or to save lives is irrelevent, the purpose is only to hurt.
