I realize that too! I meant you seemed generally ignorant, as in missing the point.

    2) You keep bringing up Hitler, which is ridiculous, so I'm just not going to talk to you anymore. Anyone who consistently compares other people to Hitler in arguments unrelated to world domination and genocyde is not someone I take seriously.
Yeah, that was lazy of me. He was just a convenient example. Next time I'll pick someone else who likes to make judgment calls on human life. Maybe some pro-death penalty judge or something. *makes note*

I'm not even going to dignify this with a proper response.

No problem...stop responding. I only quoted you in the first place because you referenced something I said about Ted Bundy in an earlier post of mine.

Those kind of questions never make any sense. Truth is he would probably jump out knowing he was saving people, I probably wouldn't have to "push" him out. Most people aren't cowardly jerks.

I just had this discussion with my sister about when people act like its a hard choice "your kids or your spouse" How could there even be a question. If my spouse had to ask me which I would rather have him save, me or the kid, I would think he had a screw loose.

These kind of questions are just for the drama factor.

For me, the good of the many outweighs the good of one - especially if that one is a wealthy businessman. The question would have been a lot more difficult for me if that one person were anyone else.

How do I determine human worth? I compare the value of their existence as a living creature (I don't even like to kill bugs, honestly) with their potential danger to others.

When did wealthy businessmen become easy to kill? Just because they aren't your peers?

Ok, actually I've been through this discussion with another INFP and it never ended well. It's easy to lump people into "evil" groups without remembering you are talking about individual people.

Because this is a hypothetical question, not a real life situation, and I'm a socialist, if you couldn't tell already.

INFPs are all socialists? Do tell. I know that isn't the case - it's just whatever we do believe, we believe it passionately.

Also, it's impossible to answer the question without making some serious value judgements (that's kind of the point of the question, really) so are you really so surprised that I did what the hypothetical question required?

Socialists believe that business men are killable? I didn't remember that belief.

No, he just has trouble exporting individuals from "business." We've argued the "evil salesman" thing too. Some people in business are out there trying to rip off other people. Most people are just trying to get through life.
