Are resources and goods evil? That's why people want money, because it can be exchanged for something useful.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

Yes. Money is evil. Everyone can send theirs to me for safe disposal.

Would bartering and money transfer be the difference between good and evil? No third party (well, third object) in bartering.
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

Money is an evil, but a necessary one.

What does the use of money require you to give up?

The idea of money is that it is a universally exchangeable commodity. For instance, if a man made a living fishing, he'd want to exchange the fish for something else, say, a pair of shoes.

Before the advent of money, he'd have to find someone that wished to have fish that had a pair of shoes he wanted. This would be very inefficient.

So instead, he exchanges fish for coins, and coins for shoes.

    Simple.

I don't think the question was what money was for, but whether or not it was inherently evil.

I believe it's the interpretation of the conscious which gives things meaning, without everything would simply exist without purpose.

Money is a man-made creation, but the vast majority of humanity is not intelligent enough to utilize currency without attempting to capitalize on it, which is a perversion of sorts. So it's not that money or people are 'evil', just stupid, relatively speaking.
