Every single Palestinian decided to use terrorism?

    No, you did.

The mandate to destroy Zionism is still right there in the PLO charter, but the roots of it aren't political; it's anti-Semitism that goes back all the way to the Koran and Mohammed's Hadiths.

Politically, it's handy for Palestinian leaders to focus the people's enmity on the Israelis. It prevents the leaders from having to actually practice statecraft.

Obviously, because they all deserve to die.

Note that more than 50% of the Palestinian population is under 18, thus could not be held responsible for the elections results.

But they are being killed, as if it was fair punishment.

Why is everyone assuming that Hamas represents all of the Palestinians in Gaza? Why is Hamas assuming that they represent all of the Palestinians? They use words like "we" and "us" when talking about how many civilians they're willing to let die, but I strongly doubt that all of the civilians agree. This situation should be treated like it is: a corrupt government using their citizens as fodder to further their political aims. In other words, by attacking the civilians and infrastructure, nothing is being accomplished except for the deaths of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure. The Hamas clearly doesn't give enough of a shit for that tactic to work.

I'm not saying that no action should be taken obviously, the Hamas is at equal fault here. But what I am saying is that the action should not include such careless bombing of areas inhabited by civilians.

Hamas deliberately mixes in with the civilian populace for that specific reason. It makes them un-bombable unless you're willing to inflict civilian casualties.

Not really, it's not like the Europeans were returning to America.

You have no idea what Hamas is. Did you even think of it ? Who are those people ? Where do they live ? If they were not among the civilians where could they be ?
