Was anyone else wondering about what happened to his secret service guards? Watch the video. They don't show up until about 5 seconds AFTER the second shoe is thrown. What happened to jumping in front of him and taking the shoe that was meant for him?

And just for fun: What heels. May God have mercy on their soles.

Maybe the show throwers feet stank too bad and the guards were dizzy from the stench...

That journalist is a self serving attention whore.

Isn't the very first thing journalists are taught is to report the news, not to create them?

Someone should have thrown a shoe at Bush on 9/11, so he would have reacted faster.

Doesn't mean they're not allowed to be upset about the state of their country. Yes it was unprofessional, but I'd give him a pass. He's an Iraqi first, a reporter second, which is more than you can say for most of our journalists.

Anyways I thought the whole thing was great. Bush showed remarkable athleticism. That shoe was headed right for his head! The best is the reaction of the Iraqi PM. It's like he was disappointed he missed. You can see him thinking, "Dammit Bob he was right there. You're only getting half your virgins now."

The point being is that he is there not representing himself, but the Iraqi journalists community.

And then he goes ahead and throws a shoe at the foreign head of state during a press conference. That is fucking ridiculous. If he can't restrain himself then he shouldn't be a journalist.

That's true. Although to be honest I couldn't understand why anybody would want to be a journalist is the first place.

My guess? A little dazed from finishing up the booze and coke the Prez didn't have time for. You know how time flies when you're havin' fun.
