Wait a minute, didn't Obama berate Clinton during the primaries for being typical of the old style of politics, and how he supposedly represented a new style?

Well there you have it, it's official: all that rhetoric about "change" was nothing more than standard political horseshit. :rolli:

lol change. Oh, since I know there are those of you out there who fell for it: "Change" was bullshit. Add: Ah Peguy, beat me to it.

That's a bit of a false argument. The change is in if he has a new policy, not in who carries it out.

Regardless, I'm not thrilled about this. But, I have to respect the pragmaticism. It's an effective political choice.

Effective at what, exactly? There's no way it makes him look good to most people. All of his (obvious) nonsense about non-partisanship went straight out the fucking window when he hired Clinton.

Whatever. The people don't factor into it - he just gained political capital, the currency which will get his things done.
