I wanted him in 2000, but Bush pulled the "illegitimate black baby" ploy in the Carolinas and that was the end of that.

Unfortunately it seemed like he had changed a lot by the time he had reached the main election season this time around. I don't think he's a bad person either, but it didn't help that he's a maverick persona who ended up partly being stuck representing the establishment + trying to win approval from conflicting elements of the fractured Republican Party.

I so badly wanted to write in "Bush" for four more years.

I told a few people on campus that I did that, today. The looks they gave me were priceless.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

haha its not just his presidential pick when i say contrarian's contrarian.

but either way, for me im just a pragmatist lately. if it was REALLY possible to have a 3+ party system, im all for it, but its not possible at this moment. but if it was really possible, sure why not.

+ 1. Too bad 2000 John McCain died a few years ago and got replaced by a clone from the planet Neocon.

I find it absolutely hillarious how every Obama supporter I've heard from now says Mccain is such a great guy after hearing his concession speech, praising Obama for his victory. Yea... the pinnacle of human judgement.

Yeah. The only explanation for Obama's victory lies in one word: Hype.

At times like this, I feel justified for every decision I've ever made.

But either way, he did go ravenous at moments, but he had his moments of dignity and morals that I have to say made me think he was an okay guy.

I listened to his speech on the radio coming back from voting. He's a good guy!
    The enemy is out there?
    A projection.

    The enemy is within.
