What is an anti-personal freedom law?

It's a law that says you're free but blows your legs off as you approach.

    Duh.
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

In that case, I think he meant 'anti-personnel'.

Obama will never be more popular than he is on inauguration day. After that, the realities of the office and the pressures of working in Washington will set in, and he will be forced to make some unpopular decisions. On the whole, I think the bulk of the political left will be disappointed with how little things actually change.

That is a good thing. Obama's vision, in 100% pure form, is not what I want to see for America. However, he does has some good ideas that I'd like to be implemented in a more practical form.

I'm not saying Europe needs to outlaw Hollywood. I'm saying a little less dependency would be great. We used to have culture over here damnit

It shouldn't do anything of the sort. If the French film industry is not strong enough to survive American competition, it should die. And I love classic French cinema.

That's insane ! Why not kill all animals in the same breath ? or all non-americans ? I say we should have a global gladiators contest and see who makes it through.

Your example of French cinema perfectly illustrates how the current market, or status quo even, has no disregard whatsoever to what makes a good product. All that matters is what sells. I can't believe how people actually make that a religion.
