I'm not american but I'd say Obama is ahead because americans have the bi-partidist (is this even an english word?) so ingrained in their mind, that after a consensually (?) below average government (Bush administration), the only possible choice is that of the other political party.

Also, I like to believe, for sanity's sake, that Palin's outrageous remarks also had something to do with it. I mean, the woman said some really politically incorrect things...

Bush would say this meant he had a mandate from the people.

Did she figure what the Vice President does yet?

    haha

well i think part of it is i get this really really bad headache and feel like throwing up every tiem i heard bush speak. its not as bad nowadays. he sounds actually okay recently. he actually speaks in reality, when he talked about the financial crisis. but the first 6 years... omfg. wat the hell???

i actually found out on this site he's an ISTJ. im the total opposite. so im wondering maybe thats why? but im very few ISTJs are like bush. I can usually get along with everyone. so im sure there are plenty of istj's that are normal people.

but i definitely feel kind of good for being the complete opposite of bush. lolz

Bush is ESTP. There is NO WAY he could be ISTJ.

I think he's an introvert. ISTP. Not ISTJ, though, I agree.
