I don't desire it, it's just that checks and balances are there just for that reason (for when something unconstitutional and therefore undesirable is being proposed). Theres no way in hell he can get guns taken away, no way in hell.

He's been center-left in the senate so far, do you think he's hiding his true policy intentions from the public and the senate so he can become President and then spring them on us?

Probably not. It would be much more likely that he would propose and/or sign bills which introduce restrictions on guns, or registration, which may or may not later be ruled unconstitutional.

What would his reasons be for betraying himself as a Senator if he has a chance to be President? I am not one to believe that like "conspiracy theories," far from it, but this guy worries me. I just don't want to know what he has up his sleeves.

is that a good enough reason for America to turn into a third world country though?

i mean come on. you gotta weigh the good and the bad. i don't think logically you can make that decision. doesn't seem logical.

Whoa! How does gun control have anything to do with macroeconomics all of a sudden? Seriously, FAIL.

i thought we were voting on a presidential election. not a gun bill.

or are you voting on a gun bill that doesn't involve the presidential election that we don't know about.

not all decisions are logical. i can accept that. =)

    You're voting? SHIT.

But seriously: Oh, Okay, I misinterpreted you, sorry 'bout that. It's getting close to sleep-time.

In response: I don't think it's fair to say Obama will save the economy and McCain will damn it. I don't have the spreadsheets handy though.

there is a way to bet on your convictions though.

If mccain wins, go long stocks. if Obama wins, short stocks. If that is your logical conviction.
