Default Sales figures for the anti god books.

    article

    In reference to Hitchens book.
"A spin-off is already in the works. Rival publisher Da Capo Press, which is owned by Perseus Books LLC, got in touch with Mr. Hitchens and signed him up to edit, "The Portable Atheist," a compilation of essays by such writers as Mark Twain and Charles Darwin that will be published in the fall"

Is this causing a stir in the U.S yet?

It's possible that I just haven't noticed it because I don't get out much, but for perspective, The Prayer of Jabez *shudder* claims to have sold eight million copies.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

yeah, tis a little scary. Though the sale figures are hard cover only. Apparently they're quite stunning figures for hard covers. So I've been told.

    I didn't think porn spam was a rare and precious thing . . .

Is that all I have to do to get banned????

My thread had a five star rating win the porn spam was in it. I fear it shall plummet now that it is gone. "Such is life"

    Thanks for removing it regardless.

There. I gave you a five just to make up for any collateral damage my spam removal may have done.

No no, just politics masquerading as religion/dogma. Hitchens wants the seperation of Church and State to stay. One day Australia will be a republic, hopefully with that idea at heart. Sigh.

Dawkin's book spent an usually long time in the number one spot on Canadian non-fiction lists. It's off now entirely, but I've noticed Hitchen's book has been number one for possibly 5 weeks now.
