    We already have the cure to suffering:

    'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

    Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
    "Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.
    - A.A. Milne.

    Most religious people don't have a problem with medicine. Science is also not the cure to everything. If I have a illness then I will go to dr., but why the fuck would I go to science to feel fulfilled, happy, answers about how I should live, or morality? Science has been the cause of much suffering as well. I'm not religious, but for some people it helps them, and most aren't fanatics that think God is just going to cure them so they forgo medical treatment. Most of your post is just subjective mussings about life.

    Of course I'm joking. The world has a stranglehold of shit and ignoring it is only as easy as someone's level of awareness of it.

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.
