Mentally disabled and faith

Started volunteering at a nearby center for the mentally disabled and am eager to attend their worship services when able.

Which raises the question: ever wonder what or why they believe in what they do?

Especially curious about a Beatles expert in his mid 60s who refers to himself as "Cowboy".
