Default Erich Fromm vs. Carl Rogers?

Do you think that the philosophy and thinking of Fromm and Rogers is compatible or incompatible?

I wonder about this because Fromm reportedly hated the self-help movement, especially gurus and easy answers, he felt it all lacked depth and recycled and regurgitated truisms which were superficial and didnt illuminate in the way that sociology and depth psychology intended to but I dont know if Rogers qualifies as being one of these gurus, what do you think?

Perhaps Fromm had people like Norman Vincent and His Power of Positive Thinking in mind, which I think is a collection of big tent sermons rather than a self-help or pop psychology book really, chicken soup for the soul is similar, its more amusing or entertaining than illuminating really, nothing wrong with that just two different things.

Both social experts are big name in their field very hard to find difference between these two.
