Heaven on Central

No wonder we mark the beginning of the realization of John Lennon's dream: that the world will be as one; it was, as I said before, inevitable, a truth foretold by language.

Ancient Greek gave us the Trinity, three persons in one god, and yet here we are on Typology Central limited to one person per identity.

Imagine if we could establish an identity on Central consisting of two or more persons. Each person would post under the same identity.

For far too long Central has been dominated by literate individuals who make a fetish of one person, one identity. But we are now in the electric age, the age of the electron, and electrons are fuzzy, they can be in more than one place at the one time, in fact where they are is statistical.

So we should follow the lead of the Trinity and the electron. I think it was Vladimir Lenin who said socialism plus electricity is communism. So we might say the Trinity plus the electron is the noosphere of pure spirits, our own heaven on Central.

i am a little mochi(freshly kneaded with cherry blossom filling)
who picnics on tombstones
dances on speakers.
a dainty
ribbon wrapped around a bomb

It's true you are a dainty ribbon but I am a little worried you are wrapped around a bomb.

What would set the bomb off?

What kind of bomb is it?

Could we set it off at a distance? Or perhaps set it off in installments?

And how would you feel after you had exploded, my dainty ribbon?

Who?

As the slave master walked along the line of recaptured slaves, he was looking for the leader to make an example of him. "So who", he asked, "is Spartacus". And you raised your head and stood up and said, "I am Spartacus". And the man next to you also raised his head and stood up and said, "I am Spartacus". And all along the line, every last recaptured slave said, "I am Spartacus".

Or as the slave master walked along the line of recaptured slaves, asking, "Who is Spartacus", you lowered your head and asked yourself, "What would Jesus do?".

So who are you?

Are you Spartacus?

Or are you Jesus?

I like this passage from Walter Scott's "The Monastery", but don't take it for my answer as that would be embarrassing.

"What I am I must not show--
What I am thou couldst not know--
Something betwixt heaven and hell--
Something that neither stood nor fell--
Something that through thy wit or will
May work thee good--may work thee ill.
Neither substance quite nor shadow,
Haunting lonely moor and meadow,
Dancing; by the haunted spring,
Riding on the whirlwind's wing;
Aping in fantastic fashion
Every change of human passion,

While o'er our frozen minds they pass,
Like shadows from the mirror'd glass.
Wayward, fickle is our mood,
Hovering betwixt bad and good,
Happier than brief-dated man,
Living twenty times his span;
Far less happy, for we have
Help nor hope beyond the grave!
Man awakes to joy or sorrow;
Ours the sleep that knows no morrow.
This is all that I can show--
This is all that thou mayest know."

Chaos theory: I am too complicated to be described. The only way to answer this questions is by simply stating my name, or by listing every single tiny fact about me. Anything else would be an oversimplification, a lie and an omission.

I am Aquarelle.

Yes it is and it warms me to know that someone got the reference :D

Yeah, no one I grew up with seems to remember it-- it was part of MTVs' Oddities block in the early 90s. I loved the cartoons. I had a couple of the comics, as well.

I think I'm gonna rewatch that, later today.. :thinking:
